As you explore the site, we thought you might like to have some of the features explained more below!

SAVED

The “Saved” button at the bottom lets you save routes most interesting to you, where you can see all flights currently posted on that route with just one click.

It also allows you to save specific flights to your home screen, so you can stay up to date on any flights you choose.

FIND

The “Find” button lets you search all flights currently available on the network.

You can search by popular routes listed (i.e. Colorado to Florida, Florida to New York, New York to Southern California, and many more) or if you wish to search a route not specifically listed, simply select “Other Routes” on the drop down, and it will show all existing flights outside “popular routes”.

When searching flights you also have the option to filter by date, simply select the date range you wish to view.

If you wish to only see flights allowing pets, click the “pet friendly” box.

If you wish to only see those flights flying empty (deadlegs, or empty legs), click the “Empty/dead leg flights only” box.

If you find a flight you are interested in, click that flight to expand and see more details.

Here you will be able to save that flight to your “Saved“ home screen by simply touching the empty “save flight” star; it becomes a filled star when saved.

If you want to talk to the Host of a flight directly, expand flight details and simply click “Direct Chat”; ask them any flight specific questions you might have.

This is also where you will coordinate payment details!

FLIGHT INTERESTS

The “Flight Interest” section allows you to post an “Interest” with your desired route, date and seat count, when no flight (or interest) currently exists for your search criteria.

Of course, we always first recommend searching the existing flights on Eye In The Sky to be sure there is not a posted flight able to fulfill your needs!

See the “Find” section above, for instructions on how to search existing flights.


If no posted flights fit your search criteria, any existing interests that fit your search criteria will be listed in the search results as well under “Interests”. If there are no posted flights and no posted interests that fit your search criteria, now it is time to “CREATE (A) FLIGHT INTEREST”!

You can create a “Flight Interest” with the “CREATE FLIGHT INTEREST” button at the bottom of the search, or you can toggle over into the “Interests” section.

Flight Interests” can be located and created under the “Find” button.

Simply click “Interests” to toggle over to “Flight Interests”, and you can search all existing interests on the platform.

After selecting your departing/arriving airports and generating your search, any interest within 100 miles of your selected airports currently available on the platform will populate below.

If you see what you need, simply tap the interest to expand interest details and tap “Join Interest”, provide the number of seats you are interested in and submit “Join”.

You are now in the interest group and its dedicated group chat specifically for that interest, and will receive SMS messages and Eye In The Sky notifications anytime:

  • A new person joins the interest.
  • Someone sends a message in the dedicated group chat for the interest.
  • When 4 seats are requested in the interest, notifying you it might be worth chartering a plane to fulfill the interest’s need.
  • When a flight is posted matching the interest.

Not seeing what you need?

Simply click “CREATE FLIGHT INTEREST”.

This is where you will be able to select your desired departure, destination, date range and # of seats you are looking for to create your own “interest”.

All prompts will help get your interest posted to the platform! It’s that easy!

MY FLIGHTS

(Host accounts only)

The “My Flights” button is a function only for Hosts.

As a Host, this is where you will go to “create a new flight” and post available seats.

Simply click “+ADD NEW” and fill out all required fields.

This is where you will be able to select your specific date, time, # of available seats, cost per seat and all other details for your new flight!

All prompts will help get your flight posted to the website! It’s that easy!

When creating a “new flight”, if you begin typing the airport name in the “Departing From” and “Arriving At” fields, the appropriate airport options should populate. When you select your desired airports for each, it will tell you below what popular route(s) your flight will appear under.

If no route is indicated, your flight will be visible under “Other Routes”.

A preview of the flight you are creating will always be visible just below the “Save” button before you post it.

Once you have successfully posted a flight, it will be listed directly below “My Upcoming Flights”.

As you post more flights, they will also be visible here; displayed in chronological order, beginning with the earliest departure date.

Should you need to edit your flight details, simply select the flight you wish to edit under your “Upcoming Flights” and click “Edit Flight”.

However, please note, certain flight details will not be able to be edited by the user; you will need to contact [email protected] to edit certain existing flight details, or have the flight removed.

(Host accounts)

When posting a flight and enabling the “Buy Nowfeature, Hosts will be prompted to create a Wing Pay account to allow secure escrow transactions.

How to . . .

As a Host, under the “My Flights” button when you “create a new flight” and post available seats, simply click “+ADD NEW” and fill out all required fields. (This is where you will be able to select your specific date, time, # of available seats, cost per seat and all other details for your new flight!)

Once you click “SAVE” you will be prompted to “Enable WING PAY (Aviation Escrow Service)“. For more details about WING PAY, click here.

You can select “Skip“, and choose to enable Wing Pay at a later date. Please Note: If you do not sign up for WING PAY, Flyers will not be able to transact directly through Eye In The Sky.

Or, you can select “Enable Wing Pay & Continue” to create a Wing Pay account, activate the “Buy Nowbutton and enable Wing Pay’s aviation escrow services for all posted flights.

Once “Enable Wing Pay & Continue” is selected, you will be redirected to Wing Pay’s Host Agreement. To engage Wing Pay’s services, be sure to fill out all of their required fields and “Continue to Agreement“. Please review and digitally sign the Host Agreement for Wing Pay if you wish to engage their services.

If you exit the window before the Host Agreement is complete, but after you have selected “Enable Wing Pay & Continue“, your “Buy Now” button will be enabled, however, any funds received by Wing Pay will not be able to be disbursed until the Wing Pay Host Agreement is complete.

If the “Buy Now” button is enabled and Host Agreement is not complete, you will be prompted to “Enable Wing Pay & Continue” and complete the Host Agreement at each flight creation until completed. You will additionally be contacted by Wing Pay reminding you to complete the Agreement in order to receive any eligible disbursements.

(Flyer accounts)

Flyers choosing “Buy Now” will add payment method to instantly secure seats.

How to . . .

When searching for flights, if you find a flight you are interested in, click that flight to expand and see more details.

Here you will be able to click “Buy Now” to secure seats directly. After clicking “Buy Now”, you will be asked to add a payment method with Wing Pay to continue and agree to “Wing Pay Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy” and Confirm purchase.

After your purchase is confirmed, you will receive an emailed receipt from Wing Pay with purchase details.

Flight Completion:

Once travel is confirmed complete, escrowed funds will be released and Host will receive payment.

REVIEWS

After flight completion upon next login to Eye In The Sky, you will be prompted to review your latest flight.

Please complete the review when prompted, not to exceed five business days so as not to unduly delay flight disbursements if any details require reporting.

CHATS

The “Chats” button is where you will be able to access your chats; both “Direct Chats” and “Interest Chats”.

Direct Chats, are private chats you have started with a specific “Host” regarding a specific flight.

Interest Chats, are group chats specifically for an interest, visible to all Flyers and Hosts, but only able to messaged in and notified about to those who have “joined” the interest.

This is where users who are in the interest can chat about specific flight details, needs or flexibility and decide to charter a plane to fulfill the interest themselves when the number of seats needed or interested parties is satisfactory.

i.e.

Interest: ASE – OPF February 11 – February 14.

A: “I’m looking for 3 seats, Aspen to Palm Beach, Feb 12.”

B: “I’m looking for 1 seat, Aspen to Palm Beach, Feb 14.”

C: “I’m looking for 2 seats, Aspen to Palm Beach, Feb 13. If I charter a plane for Feb 13, would you all join?”

A: “Absolutely!”

B: “You bet!”

C: “Great, will do so and post here on Eye In The Sky.”

Of course, we always first recommend searching the existing flights on Eye In The Sky to be sure there is not a posted flight able to fulfill your needs.

However, if there are no posted flights that fit your search criteria, Flight Interests are here to let the demand create the supply!

SAVE TO HOME SCREEN

While on the Eye In The Sky website, if you want to save the site to your phone’s home screen so it has an easy to access icon, go to the “square with the arrow pointing up” at the bottom of your web browser, click that, then scroll down and select “Add to Home Screen”, and then “Add”.

NOTIFICATIONS

While on the Eye In The Sky platform, don’t’ forget to turn on your notifications.

With notifications enabled you’ll receive alerts anytime a new flight is posted to one of your “Saved Routes”, changes are made to one of your “Saved Flights” or you receive a new “Direct Chat” message.

So, stay up to date!

Simply click the “bellicon in your top right corner (the second icon from the right), and turn on notifications by tapping the toggle switch across from the text, “Push Notifications”.

When this appears blue on your screen (rather than grey) your push notifications have been enabled.

We recommend you do this on both your computer and phone to ensure it has been activated in both places.
